This speech was given in 1992, at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. How much is still relevant today? All of it. And the more important question is: How much has been changed, accomplished, since Severn spoke that day?

Thank you for sharing this. She speaks what so many think. What a very powerful ambassador to the cause. I do not know if there are youth groups in Toronto, but after seeing this I will research it. My son who is 6 would be a great advocate. My 6 year old son will be hearing her talk. Thanks again. Victoria
