Team of professor from Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University in co-operation with IICRD (Canada), UNICEF Thailand and DLA: Department of Local Administration (Ministry of Interior) provided the five days workshop on 'Child Rights-based Local Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation for Results for Children during 8 -12 December 2009.
41 participants from local agencies of 25 provinces were involved in the workshop where learning space and platform were created. IICRD innovation on 'the RIGHTS Circle' were introduced as a process of learning within local planning's activity. Outcome Mapping were used as a key strategic process for monitoring and evaluation. Professor Dr.Philip Cook and Ms.Cheryl Heykoop from IICRD (Canada) took charge as curriculum developers and key trainners of the workshop. Assitant Professor Athapol Anunthavorasakul and his reserach team conducted the presentations, experiential learning activities, and discussion. The workshop aimed to develop team as local trainners for Child Rights-based Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation.
