I'm not surprised with the findings of this study considering my 8 and 10 year old cousins were completely inseparable from their ipod touch and cell phones all throughout Christmas dinner this year. It would be interesting to see if texting is having an affect on the sociability of children because it has practically replaced the necessary niceties of a phone conversation.
