Day 2 has resulted in a rich exchange between conference participants. It is great to finally meet people we all read about in the child rights field!

In one small discuusion we were trying to tink about taking the child rights movement "to the Next level" In addition to many thought ful comments about refining and decentralizing the CRC reporting process to engage more people more often than five years, the two topics that emerged consistently were about climate change and the rapid evolution of technology. As Jim Garbarino put it, to ignore climate change and its implications to children is to building a snad castle on the beach with your back to the incoming tide.

How wonderful to see this event take off! I wish I could be there with you all! But since I cannot, I'm so glad to have this platform to follow along. Best of luck for the following days!
