Hi Jennifer,

I read about "Juvenile Justice: Passages, Prevention, and Intervention" conference, and thought you might be interested in learning about the way Sudbury Valley School approaches this subject, where order and discipline are achieved by a dual approach based on a free and democratic framework: a combination of popularly-based authority, when rules and regulations are made by the community as a whole, fairly and democratically passed by the entire school community, supervised by a good judicial system for enforcing these laws; and developing internal discipline in the members of the community by enhancing their ability to bear responsibility and self-sufficiency.

Cheers,
~ David

Hey Jennifer! I am doing well! I asked about you at the conference in Canada in October and Natasha and Michele mentioned that you were in New York. So great to see you on here! What are you up to in New York? Are you living in NYC?
