Hi all, I work in Suriname (South America) with indigenous communities. We have not done much work with children, just starting up with education, so I am interested in learning from you. Thanks for starting this discussion. Ellen-Rose

Measuring and evaluation for indigenous families and communities will be as complex and diverse as the languages and the people. Although, I think we can start with looking at some commonalities in regions around the world.

Being specific to regions allows M & E to be flexible for the small and large differences for indigenous groups. What makes a family strong, safe and supported in Tucson, Arizona - USA won't be the same thing in Saddle Lake, Alberta - Canada.
