Regional conference “Child Participation: Together We Decide'

in December, 15th 2010, the Egypt National Child Rights Observatory, its partners, the National Council of Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM), the Egypt Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), the United Nations Children’s Fund in Egypt (UNICEF), with the collaboration of the Italian Co-operation, is going to organize the regional conference “Child Participation: Together We Decide”. We are, therefore, inviting policy experts, practitioners as well as academic researchers from Middle East and Mediterranean countries to submit papers, posters and audiovisual materials relevant to the conference’s themes. The conference will take place in Cairo and will aim at exchanging successful experiences, case-studies and evidence-based researches on child participation for inclusive and child-centered public social and economic policies.
We, therefore, kindly invite you to submit your abstracts and send it by e-mail to conference2010@encro.org.
Kindly note that the deadline for the submission of abstracts is August, 30th 2010. Information for the acceptance of papers, posters and audiovisuals will be communicated by September, 30h 2010. Full papers must be submitted before November, 15th 2010. You are therefore kindly requested to provide us with research and poster proposals relevant to this goal.
Only a limited amount of resources will be available for travel for some authors of selected papers. It is expected that participants will be funded by their own organizations.
